With this being a blog dedicated to love, I feel it’s only right I show love to my hubby on our anniversary. King, you have been one of the best blessings I could have ever asked for. I asked God to bring the man He chose to be my husband and I could not have imagined He would pick someone so wonderfully and perfectly made for me (God knows me well)! Thank you for who you are and who you’re becoming. I thank God that our journey has been full of joy and love these past 3 years and I’m blessed knowing He will only lead us to higher heights of love, joy, and greatness in Him as our lifelong journey continues. I Love You.
The amount of beautiful black women scarred by love and the men that pretend to believe in it is astronomical. You can see it in their faces, hear it in their speech, watch it in their walk. A real man can sense it. So for you men out there wondering if there is anything you do try this: next time you see a young woman who has built her wall up so high that you are only greeted by the angry bricks she’s using to build higher, say “i know you may not believe it, but i’m not trying to talk to you. I just wanted to say that you are a beautiful woman inside and out, and one day, when you’re ready you’re going to make a wonderful man very happy.” And walk away….
black love is more than just an utterance, it is a conscious effort to continuously improve and upkeep the nature of the relationships you engage in; leaving those you may break with still able to love without the bitter pace of rebuilding oneself, and keeping those you stay with so loved that hearing you breathe makes them smile.
Is this Love (Bob Marley cover)
Spreading my woman’s legs in the morning before we commune inside each other pales in comparison to the honor i feel knowing she loves me enough to allow me to do so.
you need to know this: love is not just a verb it’s you looking in the mirror
The tragedy of sexual intercourse is the perpetual virginity of the soul.
